The parent education class takes place on Wednesday evenings at The Oaks. The evening classes address issues and concerns common to families with young children. Parents also contribute to the planning of the morning activities, community events and participate in the operation of the school. Parents are welcome to come a bit early to gather with committee members, schedule a conference with the director, or to enjoy a snack and a chance to visit before class begins.

A wide variety of topics are addressed, including: positive guidance, child development, fostering creativity, music, separation, death & loss, potty training, sleep, kindergarten readiness and other parenting issues of interest to the community.
